The reality is that only this city attracts millions of visitors every day. After all, with all their canals and gondolas, the unique history of the city itself, and the friendly people, there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t visit Venice.
And this was exactly what Pauline and Olivier thought and wanted for their big wedding day. They wanted to tie the knot in a special location surrounded by their family and friends. And as a Venice wedding photographer, I was able to be a part of these beautiful, special, and unique day.

The Wedding
Both the bride and groom were incredibly quick to decide they wanted a Classic chic wedding with some artistic details. After all, they wanted to make sure that they dressed according to the city where they were going to get married.
Pauline decided to wear a beautiful handmade dress that included some custom embroidery in the back. She also wore a delicate necklace with a cross to give that last detail. On the other hand, Oliver opted to wear a tailcoat suit.
In order to get ready for this very special day, the bride and groom rented a private villa where they got ready. Then, they left for the historic church of Santa Maria Dei Miracoli where the ceremony took place. We have to say that it was beautiful since both the bride and groom decided to incorporate handwritten love letters to celebrate the day.
At the end of the ceremony, the guests had the opportunity to explore a bit more of Venice while Pauline and Oliver enjoyed the traditional gondola ride around the city.
The Venue
When it was time to get the bride and groom together with their guests, we have to say that Pauline and Oliver couldn’t have picked a better place. The Palazzo Ca Rezzonico is an iconic place and the reception started with some cocktails in the garden. It was then followed by dinner indoors where the decoration incorporated traditional flowers with fresh fruits. As soon as the dinner was over, it was time for dancing that went through the entire night.
Bottom Line
Many people are afraid to have their wedding in a different country. However, we have to say that Venice is the number one location in the world for couples to celebrate their union. We were incredibly honoured and happy that we were a part of this amazing and unique wedding in Venice, Italy.
