Meta and Albert love nature and traveling. They imagined their wedding day to take place in an inspiring landscape. Their mission was that they would gather people that mean the most to them. When they start organizing their wedding, their first choice was island Karpathos in Greece. With a lot of struggling they considered another options. Finally they decided to hike up under the mountains and say ”I do” in the little chapel on Uskovnica.
We wanted our invitations to be something special. So, we were looking for a designer, who could draw our wedding story. Since we did not find anyone in Slovenia, we looked on Behance and found an amazing Italian illustrator Claudia Brodin. She is the owner of the brand Mondo Mombo. Her unique idea, where the invitation included the key points of our theme and included all of the senses to properly appreciate the invitation was sold immediately. Our invitations were placed in small boxes (done by Albert), with moss, which invoked a nature escape, and our illustrated faces on the path to Uskovnica and the chapel there turned out perfectly. In addition, she also draw a design for stamps, which we pasted on mugs, the cotton totes and on the boxes filled with tea.Â

Our photographers were Katja and Simon. We met them almost a year before our wedding. At the time when we were still dreaming about getting married in Greece. We loved their style, they photographs reflect their talent and hard work they invest into every photo. It was clear to us they love what they are doing. They were there for us all the way to the end, helping us relax and inspire us to be spontaneous, and our photos magnificently reflect those emotions.Â
Their wedding theme was inspired by nature and its simplistic, rustic feeling. They wanted to share the feelings of relaxation and coming home atmosphere. Friends helped them collect moss, roots and cones. It turned into beautiful decorations by their florist.
Since the wedding took place in the mountains, Meta knew exactly what she wanted to wear. Choosing a tulle and lace dress, she found the perfect one right at the start of her fitting session. Unfortunately, the dress was too heavy to walk around so she decided to go with something lighter after the ceremony. She draw a simple dress and her colleague did a wonderful job of sewing Meta’s vision together.
