Sevilla Engagement Photographer
One day we got an email from a couple in faraway South Korea, Lee & Jung. They were enamoured by the city of Sevilla and the Spanish vibe. They had chosen to come to Sevilla for their engagement photoshoot. We were honoured that they chose this city and us for this special moment in their lives.
Lee & Jung are a sweet couple who love to travel and were adventurous enough to come all the way from South Korea to Sevilla for a special photoshoot. This was also their first trip to Europe, which made it even more exciting for them. It also added to our responsibility of doing justice for their once in a lifetime moment.
Sevilla has an amazing atmosphere, even with the hustle and bustle of people running their errands or going about their daily jobs. The overall vibe of the city though still remains quintessentially Spanish and of course relaxing. Although we prefer spending time in nature, exploring the jungles and climbing mountains, we feel very comfortable in Sevilla. It’s relaxing vibe and the historical streets almost feel like a second home now and we can’t wait to go back again soon.

We wanted this photoshoot to reflect the beauty and warmth of Sevilla and Europe through them. Our main focus was to create a great experience for Lee and Jung, something they would remember for a lifetime. We wanted to capture the cathedral, the city centre, lanes and bylanes of this wonderfully romantic city while keeping the focus on the lovely couple. The city was nearly a backdrop to their love story and weaved a tale of romance around them.
Most of our interaction with couples happens remotely and we come face-to-face just minutes before the photoshoot. Hence, it normally takes a little time for most couples to open up to us and feel comfortable, and this is something we totally understand. But with Lee and Jung, all of us hit it on right from the first time we met. We shared an amazing chemistry and all of us were totally on board in terms of what we hoped to achieve. This in spite of Jung being not very comfortable in English. The photoshoot was really fun and never did it feel like work, which made the end result so much better.
We started early in the morning to avoid the touristy crowds in the Sevilla city center. This allowed us to shoot with freedom and achieve the result we were hoping for. We enjoyed our time relaxing in the morning while wandering through the narrow streets, drinking coffee in the roadside coffee shops. It was a great experience watching the city from such close quarters and catching its vibe waking up.
